Monday On-going Classes:

Tuesday  
9:30 am - 12:30 Pastel Painting - with Louise Eaton (ongoing). Explore various techniques such as underpainting, still life painting and more.  Drawing experience is helpful. Call for supply list.

Come explore your wild, artsy side with exciting and fun water media on Tuesdays taught by Ann Marie Dalis. These classes will teach basic drawing skills and build on those skills as students learn color mixing and theory painting in watercolor.  Watercolor is the best, least expensive medium to learn about color.  Other media such as tempera, acrylic, inks and dyes will be explored.  Mixed media and design will be an integral part of the classes.

Classes are designed for beginners to advanced, with individualized art instruction.  Supply list same for all Tuesday classes. 3 students minimum. $110/non-members, $100/members for six classes.  Drop-in $25/non-members, $20/members.

12 round watercolor brush
½” filbert watercolor brush
2B pencil (#2 will work but cut off eraser)
white plastic eraser
kneaded eraser
Palette with cover (large, best if at least 9x12”)
Paints needed: alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow medium, ultramarine blue, indigo, burnt sienna (more colors can be added later, always buy artist’s grade not student grade watercolors)
3 sheets 140# watercolor paper - any brand until you find one you like.  This paper is 22x30” and we will be tearing it into smaller sizes.  If it comes in plastic bag keep it in that wrapper!
Paper towels, old bath towel, small sea sponge, roll of toilet paper, plastic cards such as old hotel key or credit card cut into sharp angles (3), tackle box to hold art supplies
Wednesday

Begging Metal Jewelry Making - 4 week class with Lisa Kent

Introduction to fabricating jewlery using cold connecctions. Learn techniques for cutting, former, and decorating metal. Projects include earrings and a pendant. Use of tools and materials are included. Min. 4/Max 6 students.
